A mortgage is not guaranteed. Availability and approval depend on your circumstances, affordability and the lender’s criteria.
CREDIT REPORTS
When reviewing your credit history, you can choose which credit reference agency or credit report service you would like to use. The main UK credit reference agencies are Experian, Equifax and TransUnion.
We have an affiliate relationship with Checkmyfile, which is one credit report service available to you. Checkmyfile allows you to view information from all three of the UK’s main credit reference agencies in one place and currently offers eligible new customers a 7-day free trial.
Please note: You are not required to use Checkmyfile. You can obtain your credit report directly from Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, or another credit report provider of your choice.
If you choose to use Checkmyfile, the 7-day free trial is available to eligible new customers aged 18 or over who live in the UK. After the 7-day free trial, the subscription costs £14.99 per month unless cancelled. You can cancel your trial or subscription at any time. To avoid being charged the monthly subscription fee, you must cancel before the free trial ends.
